Live and work in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. Born in Madiun, 1975. Graduated from Visual Communication Design Department at Indonesian Institute of Arts, Wok The Rock can be described as a cross-disciplinary artist who working mostly on art-based project. Co-founded Ruang MES 56, a contemporary photography collective in 2002. In 2004 with Wimo Ambala Bayang producing short video compilation series Video Battle. He also very active in underground music scene in Yogyakarta; producing music with local artists, running a net label Yes No Wave Music, curating music gigs inYes No Klub and writing for Free Music Archive website and Xeroxed. Currently working on his long-term project “Burn Your Idol”.
