02. Our Playground

Our house is a modern Javanese old building with a big tree on the front yard, located near Sultan palace territory and central park of Yogyakarta. Under the big tree you can sit and browse the net using our free wi-fi. You can order cold beer or crispy snack from the grocery shop beside the house. When you enter our house, you first will find the gallery where we hang artworks, arrange a discussion, presentation or sleep on the big carpet if we’re not lucky enough to get a room after a party. The second part is a TV room and a tiny library with tons of books, catalogues, DVDs, and magazines about photography, music, lifestyle, literature and visual art, it’s a good place to stay and scratching TV programmes or if you just get bored with people. The best part is the backyard. In the backyard you can find what you really need: toilet, kitchen, room and a bench where you can sit and flee your mind. You can imagine how beautiful it is to throw a party in the backyard without anybody on the street can see your foolish act driven by whiskey and death metal beat.

From Adisucipto Airport:
Take Trans Jogja Bus Route No. 1B from Bandara Adisucipto, and get off at RS. PKU MUHAMMADIYAH bus stop (approx. 10 stops from the airport). Then, take a 10 minutes becak (pedicab) ride to Nagan Lor 17, near Pasar Ngasem (Ngasem Bird Market).
From Giwangan Bus Station:
Take Trans Jogja Bus Route No. 3B from the bus station bus stop, and get off at JOKTENG KULON bus stop (approx. 5 stops from the bus station). You can either walk to Nagan Lor 17 or take a short becak (pedicab) ride.
From Jombor Bus Station:
Take Trans Jogja Bus Route No. 2A from the bus station bus stop, and get off at KANTOR POS BESAR (Post Office) bus stop (approx. 4 stops from the bus station). Then, take a 15 minute becak (pedicab) ride to Nagan Lor 17, near Pasar Ngasem (Ngasem Bird Market).
From Tugu Train Station:
Take Trans Jogja Bus Route No. 3A from the train station bus stop on the main road, and get off at JOKTENG KULON bus stop (approx. 4 stops from the bus station). You can either walk to Nagan Lor 17 or take a short becak (pedicab) ride.
