Through FAÇADE, Yudhi Soerjoatmodjo presented a new way of ‘seeing’ concept. The photos were taken from 9 cities in Germany which physically looked like a documentation form of ‘what it’s seen’. However, behind those things, he offered an observation of the hidden daily faces, nameless buildings and the ordinary scenery mean. Those pictures were such an invitation for us to find the physical, psychological, and spiritual dimension of what it is implied in FAÇADE.
